Sentic Cycle a.k.a. Theodor Sperl - Electronic Music producer and DJ based in Vienna is back with his second single release as we ramp up the anti for his album ‘Visions Through The Window’ which this week. “Visions Through The Window represents the hallucinations I experience sometimes when I look through a window. It's a moment where I lose touch with reality but also a moment that allows me to come back to reality and create new things.”

Highly influenced by sampling bits from other artists and layering them to create new ambient, noisy soundscapes in Jungle and DnB that hold both beauty and darkness is what Sentic Cycle has done so craftily in this album. “I'd like to point out the intro and the outro as these are one-takes from a synth. There was only a little editing going on. I think this shows a true moment of musicality. Just going with the flow and creating...not thinking too much about creating a tune.”

Visions Through The Window is one of my most personal works to date. It was created not only under special circumstances but also during difficult times. To a certain extent it is both the processing of these two things and a farewell to my last releases. I wouldn't call it dancefloor music even though it could be interpretated as such. The intention was to create an album that might has a timeless or even "undanceable" feel to it.
